2012-05-16 - Crowe's Funeral Home announces as of today, our manager, Chaplain Kenneth Brewster has received the accreditation as a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP). A CFSP is individual that reaches to the four corners of the world educating the people on the funeral service profession, the edification of the community thru organizations or any community related activities, stretches the duties of oneself by acquiring public titles or duties to the aid and outreach for the people. Chaplain Brewster expands his outreach and ability to assist the community from being a volunteer Fire Commissioner, Chaplin and fire fighter in Middle Island, Long Island; career day activist at local high schools; faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church; sponsor and advocate for many youth athletic teams and boy scouts and a spiritual counselor. With the faithfulness and dedication Chaplain Brewster has depicted in not only his community but to communities all over the tri-state and world it was only fitting like a fine suit that Chaplain Brewster was awarded this accreditation. Congratulations to our very own, Manager Chaplain Kenneth Brewster newly named Certified Funeral Service Practitioner for his limitless work to and for the people.

2012-05-16 - On May 18, in honor of all the lupus survivors and any fighting this illness, the entire staff will wear purple to show our respect and inform you we are continuously praying and wishing the very best to all the families and friends that have been affected by the illness. Chaplain Brewster very own cousin Kim Parris, has battled and still is battling this illness so for her struggles, strength and will to fight the good fight of faith we send our love and prayers to her.
