Marcus Wharwood, 28, was granted his wings on July 24th, 2013.

Mark was born December 30th, 1984, in Trinidad to Michael and Patricia Wharwood. Marcus came to New York at the age of five.

Marcus was a twin born, that is why he has the love and energy of two people. Unfortunately, his twin went on to meet their creator at birth. Now he will unite with the other half of him, his brother.
His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Mark had touched in some way throughout his short, yet very memorable life.

Marcus’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Anywhere Marcus goes he touches someone’s heart, he is always helping somebody. No one can ever say they asked for his help and he turned them away, no matter the time or place.

Marcus was a great father; he would do and give anything to his children. He was a magnificent uncle; he was always stern on his niece and nephews to do well in school and life.

His interests included first and foremost, family, fixing bikes and cars. He loved digging into the many Nissan Sentra’s he had. He loved riding motorcycles and loved wheelying bikes. He devoted much of his time and energy as a loving father, son, brother and friend.

Children: Nevaeh and Nasir
Nieces and Nephews; Sasha, Dennis Jr., Brandon, Uma, Bryan, and Amari
