James Edward  Green
Mr. James Edward Green better known to us as Alex, son of the late Mr. Arthur Green and Mrs. Louise McKnight Green born July 10,1944 in Kingstree, S.C., he was the oldest of six siblings. He departed this life on July 12, 2009 at Margaret Tietz Nursing Home in Jamaica, NY. He completed his education in Greeleyville, S.C. In 1962 he moved to Queens, New York. He served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. James was employed by Shurz manufacturing company Jamaica N.Y. for many years.

He loved working on cars and sitting on the pouch watching everyone walk by. He was like a neighbor watchman. He enjoyed fishing and taking trips with his family especially to South Carolina.

He was united in holy matrimony to Ms. Wilhelmina Cunningham for forty-one years this union was blessed with three sons. He leaves to mourn in passing, a loving and devoted wife Mrs. Wilhelmina Green of the home: Three sons Mr. Michael Green,(Shanequa fiancĂ©e), Mr. Rodney Green,(Shawntay), Mr. Daniel Green (Niswan) all of Jamaica, N.Y. Four Sister's Mrs. Annie L. Morris, Mrs. Vitel Cooper of Kingstree, S.C., Mrs. Blondell Gamble(John) and Mrs. Mary Alice Footman of New Haven, Conn. One Brother Mr. Harold Green of Kingstree, S.C. Uncle Mr. Nathan McKnight(Mary) of Kingstree, S.C. and mother in law Mrs. Louise Cunningham of Kingstree, S.C. Eight grandchildren, Michelle, Laneshia, Danielle, Rodnej Jr., Rhamel, Briana, Michael Jr., JA'Nyla. Seven sisters â€"in-law. two brothers-in-law. Special nephews Vincent Dais, Ronald Green and Dave Gray. Special nieces Deborah Jones, Toya Green, and Titu Turner and an additional host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
